During this week’s edition of ODT Rugby Chat, sponsored by Garador, we take a trip down memory lane and catch up with two rugby players who have reached the impressive milestone of playing over 100 games for their respective clubs.

First up is Hame Toma, affectionately known as “the Bruise,” from the Sharks, who recently celebrated his 150th game against Taieri. We also chat with Aleki Morris from Harbour, who joined the centurion club a few weeks ago after playing his 100th game against Taieri.

PD delves into what has motivated these players to stay committed to the game for so long and remain loyal to their clubs.

We reflect on the highlights and challenges of their rugby careers and speculate on how much longer they plan to continue playing.

As we wrap up, we analyze how Harbour suffered a defeat against Varsity over the weekend and discuss Dunedin’s narrow escape after almost relinquishing a 33-point lead against the Eels.
