British actor and comedian Russell Brand has made headlines once again, this time for his controversial comments about his ex-wife Katy Perry’s new boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Brand, known for his alternative health, political, and conspiracy theory discussions on YouTube and social media, was married to Perry in 2009. The couple tied the knot in a Hindu ceremony in India but divorced in 2012.

After their split, Brand gained a following for his political insights and went on to marry Laura Gallacher in 2017. The couple now has three children together.

Recently, Brand publicly criticized Perry’s relationship with Trudeau, stating, “Look, Katy Perry, I was married to her. I love her still, and I’m glad that her mom’s in the room to hear me say this, but, look, I was OK with Orlando Bloom, but Justin Trudeau? C’mon, man. Don’t put me in a category with that guy. That globalist stooge.”
