FBI Links Suspect’s Note to Epstein Conspiracy Theories

crime scene at ABC station Sacramento

The FBI has revealed that Anibal Hernandez Santana, arrested in connection with a shooting at a Sacramento television station, left behind unsettling notes that included threats to various political figures. This incident raises questions not only about his intent but also about the societal implications of such actions.

During a search of Santana’s residence and vehicle, law enforcement officials uncovered two particularly concerning messages. One was found on a refrigerator planner at his home, which ominously stated, “Do the Next Scary Thing.”

More disturbingly, a note discovered in his car read: “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”

This troubling correspondence came to light hours after Santana allegedly discharged several rounds at KXTV-TV, an ABC affiliate in Sacramento. Reports indicate that he initially fired shots into the air while in a school zone before targeting the station’s lobby. Fortunately, although an employee was present during the incident, they were unharmed.

ABC station shooting aftermath

Santana was initially apprehended by local police on Friday night, only to be released on bail the following day. However, the FBI took him back into custody over the weekend and has since filed an amended three-count criminal complaint against him.

Charges against Santana now include the possession and discharge of a firearm within a school zone, as well as interference with operations at a radio communication station. If found guilty, he faces substantial penalties, including up to five years of imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.

Prosecutors are emphasizing that this case remains fluid. Notably, the threatening notes, especially those mentioning prominent figures, have become central to understanding the suspect’s motives and the broader context of potential political violence.
