Sanka Coffie in ‘Cool Runnings’ ‘Memba Him?!

American actor Douglas Bourne , also known as “Doug E. Doug,” was in his early 20s when he portrayed Sanka in the 1993 sports film “Cool Runnings.” Sanka is a humorous, easy-going push cart racer with a penchant for kissing eggs.

Bourne starred alongside John Candy as the disgraced former Olympic bobsledder Irv, Leon Robinson as the determined Derice, and Rawle D. Lewis as Junior, a bobsledder struggling under his father’s expectations.

In addition to “Cool Runnings,” Douglas also appeared as Griffin Vesey on the CBS sitcom “Cosby.”
