Savannah Guthrie’s Sister Nancy Still Missing, Blood Found Inside Home
It has been a harrowing five days for Savannah Guthrie and her siblings as they continue to search for their missing sister, Nancy. Unfortunately, the investigation has not yielded any proof of life for Nancy, leaving the family desperate for answers.
Traces of Nancy’s blood were discovered inside her home, and even two days later, splatters of blood were still visible on the porch tile near her front door. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos addressed reporters at a news conference, expressing hope that Nancy is still alive and emphasizing the family’s desire to have her home safely.
Despite the ongoing investigation, Sheriff Nanos admitted that there are no suspects or persons of interest in Nancy’s mysterious disappearance. He stated, “We’re not there yet, we’re just not there yet,” indicating the challenges faced by law enforcement in this case.
DNA tests confirmed that the blood found at Nancy’s mother’s home belonged to Nancy, and additional items have been submitted for testing. However, Sheriff Nanos appeared unaware of a video plea made by Savannah and her siblings to the kidnappers, highlighting potential communication gaps within the investigation.
NewsNation reporter Brian Entin, who attended the press conference, revealed on X that Sheriff Nanos was unaware of the video plea until it was shown to him by his wife. It appears that the FBI has now taken control of the investigation, signaling a shift in the case’s direction.
