Scott Jennings Takes Action: Conservative CNN Analyst Reports Ex-MSNBC Commentator Keith Olbermann to FBI Over Now-Deleted 'You're Next, Motherf***er' Threat

Scott Jennings has reported “threatening” messages from Keith Olbermann to the FBI. The incident arose after Olbermann, former MSNBC host, ominously told the CNN commentator, “You’re next, motherf—–,” RadarOnline.com has learned.

The confrontation occurred following the announcement of Jimmy Kimmel‘s return to television, which triggered Olbermann’s fury aimed at Jennings.

In his now-deleted tweets, Olbermann expanded on his disdain, commenting, “We won, you stupid pieces of s—. Last fold to fascism was last week. Now we take the fascists off real TV.” He further taunted Jennings, “That’d mean your career is next, Jennings. Send a tape to Real America’s Voice. But keep mugging to the camera, amateur.”

This rant stemmed from Jennings’s remarks regarding Disney‘s revival of Kimmel’s late-night show and the fallout from Kimmel’s comments surrounding Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

On Monday, September 22, Disney announced: “We made the decision to suspend production on [Jimmy Kimmel Live!] to avoid further inflaming a tense situation that has affected our country.” This has been a result of Kimmel’s insensitive comments at a sensitive time.

The decision to resume the show came after discussions with Kimmel, leading Jennings to Tweet, “So basically his employer suspended him for being an insensitive prick, and we don’t live in an authoritarian regime? Got it,” spurring Olbermann’s backlash.

Olbermann condemned the broadcasting company Sinclair for their handling of the situation, expressing his disdain towards them and their association with Charlie Kirk, saying “Burn in hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk.”

Kimmel made headlines during his return to late-night television, using his platform to criticize Republican reactions to the murder of Charlie Kirk.

He stated concerning the MAGA community’s response: “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them.”

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is now taking steps to address Kimmel’s remarks, with Chairman Brendan Carr threatening “immediate action” against Kimmel, ABC, and Disney for allegedly misleading the public.

Carr, in a podcast interview, labeled Kimmel’s comments as “truly sick” and has raised the prospect of a suspension, indicating, “you could certainly see a path forward for a suspension over this.”
