According to a source close to the family, the music mogul has managed to speak briefly to his family members and his children via phone. The insider revealed that Combs is very concerned about his kids and their well-being, especially considering that some of his children have no living parent available to them while he is incarcerated.
With three minor children and four out of seven children now without either parent available, Combs’ family is said to be in a state of crisis and shock following his arrest. The rapper is a father to three sons — Quincy, Justin, and Christian — and four daughters — Chance, Jessie, D’Lila, and Love. His late ex Kim Porter, with whom he shared Christian and twins Jessie and D’Lila, passed away in 2018. Combs also helped raise and eventually adopt Quincy, Porter’s son with Al B. Sure!.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” artist had son Justin with stylist Misa Hylton, daughter Chance with Sarah Chapman, and his youngest child, Love, with Dana Tran. Combs was arrested earlier this month in New York following a grand jury indictment.
