Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Another Setback in Sexual Assault Lawsuit
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is once again facing legal troubles as his attempt to dismiss a sexual assault lawsuit has been denied in its entirety, paving the way for a trial against the music mogul. The lawsuit, filed by music producer Jonathan Hay, accuses Combs of sexually violating him on multiple occasions.
In court documents obtained by Radar, Combs had sought to have the lawsuit dismissed on the grounds that Hay had failed to state sufficient facts to constitute causes of action. However, Judge Michael E. Whitaker ruled against Combs, denying his request for dismissal and clearing the way for the case to proceed to trial.
Hay, who came forward late last year as the “John Doe” who previously sued Combs, detailed disturbing incidents he allegedly experienced at the hands of the rapper. In an exclusive interview with Radar, Hay claimed that Combs had forced him to perform oral sex on him, leaving him feeling violated and humiliated.
According to the lawsuit, one of the incidents occurred when Combs allegedly exposed himself to Hay and pressured him to engage in sexual acts. Another disturbing allegation in the lawsuit claims that Combs masturbated into a shirt belonging to the late rapper Biggie Smalls and then threw it at Hay, saying “RIP Biggie.”
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey after being convicted on charges related to prostitution. He is set to be released in April 2028 after participating in a drug-abuse rehabilitation program.
The denial of Combs’ request to dismiss the lawsuit means that he will have to face the allegations in court, where Hay will have the opportunity to present his case against the music mogul. The outcome of the trial remains uncertain, but the legal battle between Combs and Hay is far from over.
