Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day took to her Instagram Stories to express her disappointment over the recent verdict in the case involving Sean Combs, also known as Diddy. In a video, O’Day shared her shock and disbelief at the outcome, particularly focusing on the acquittals of individuals like Cassie Ventura and Rico.

She stated, “Oh my God, not guilty on Cassie, not guilty on Rico, no way that Jane is gonna be guilty. This makes me physically ill… Cassie probably feels so horrible. Ugh, I’m gonna vomit.” O’Day went on to emphasize the emotional toll of the decision, highlighting the impact it has had on the lives of those involved.

In a subsequent post, the singer reflected on the broader implications of the verdict, noting the “cultural weight” of the decision and expressing her heartbreak over the experiences of survivors of abuse. She voiced her support for Ventura, acknowledging the courage it took for her to share her truth in the courtroom.

“My heart is with Cassie. A woman who could’ve had a life and career free of fear and control,” O’Day wrote. “Women, nor men, nor any artist are the property of those with wealth, fame, and power. We are not disposable. 12 people on a jury will not be deciding that for us.”

During an interview on Inside Edition, O’Day further discussed her reaction to the verdict, describing it as a “gut punch.” She expressed disbelief at the jury’s decision, stating, “The evidence is there. For me, it’s all the way there.”

The case involving Sean Combs has sparked conversations about power dynamics, accountability, and the importance of listening to survivors. O’Day’s candid remarks shed light on the emotional toll of such high-profile legal proceedings and the need for continued support for those who come forward with their stories.
