In the TV categories, “The Pitt” took home the award for Best Drama Series, with Sterling K. Brown winning Best Actor for his role in “Paradise” and Kathy Bates winning Best Actress for her role in “Matlock.” The Best Comedy Series award went to “Abbott Elementary,” with Adam Brody winning Best Actor for “Nobody Wants This” and Kristen Bell winning Best Actress for the same series.
The event also recognized excellence in other areas of filmmaking, including Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Hair and Makeup, Best Visual Effects, and Best Stunt Design, among others.
