Seth Meyers, the host of “Late Night,” recently expressed his concerns about the possibility of Donald Trump winning a second term as president. In a satirical tone, Meyers joked about the idea of Trump serving not just four more years, but potentially eight, 12, or even indefinitely. While the 22nd Amendment limits a president to two terms, Trump once posted a video online depicting himself running for office indefinitely.

During his “Closer Look” segment, Meyers humorously touched on various topics, including the belief that windmills cause cancer and referencing fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. He also took jabs at Trump, highlighting his age and criminal record, as well as poking fun at his victory speech.

Moving on to Trump’s supporters, Meyers quipped about the possibility of RFK Jr., known for discussing a parasitic worm that affected his brain, becoming the health secretary. He also targeted Elon Musk, criticizing the billionaire’s influence and power in society.

Expressing genuine concern for the future, Meyers highlighted Trump’s stated intentions, such as military style roundups of migrants and dismantling government departments. Despite these fears, Meyers ended on a hopeful note, urging Americans to stand in solidarity against Trump’s divisive vision and work towards creating a better world.

As Meyers concluded his segment with a message of unity and action, he emphasized the importance of coming together to build a brighter future. The comedian’s mix of humor and sincerity resonated with viewers, prompting reflection on the potential challenges ahead.

Overall, Meyers’ segment served as a reminder of the importance of staying engaged and proactive in shaping the world we want to live in. His blend of satire and earnestness captured the current political climate, offering both a laugh and a call to action for his audience.
