‘Severance,’ ‘The Last of Us’ Among Set Decorators Society of America Award Winners

The 2024-25 SDSA TV Awards have recently been announced, with “Severance” and “The Last of Us” taking home the top honors. The Set Decorators Society of America recognizes outstanding achievements in small-screen decor and design from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.

In addition to the top winners, other notable recipients include “The Studio,” “1923,” and “Saturday Night Live.” The full list of winners is as follows:

Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a One Hour Contemporary Series:
– Winner: “Severance” S2, Set Decoration by David Schlesinger SDSA with Production Design by Jeremy Hindle
– Other Nominees: “Black Mirror,” “Poker Face” S2, “The White Lotus,” “Your Friends & Neighbors”

Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a One Hour Fantasy or Science Fiction Series:
– Winner: “The Last of Us” S2, Set Decoration by Jonathan Lancaster SDSA and Lisa Lancaster SDSA with Production Design by Don Macaulay
– Other Nominees: “Andor,” “Dune: Prophecy,” “House of the Dragon” S2, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” S2

Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a One Hour Period Series:
– Winner: “1923”, Set Decoration by Carla Curry SDSA with Production Design by Cary White & Lisa Ward
– Other Nominees: “Bridgerton,” “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” “Pachinko,” “Yellowjackets”

Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a Television Movie or Limited Series:
– Winner: “Lady in the Lake”, Set Decoration by Karuna Karmarkar SDSA with Production Design by JC Molina
– Other Nominees: “The Four Seasons,” “Interior, Chinatown,” “Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story,” “Sirens”

Best Achievement in Décor/Design of a Half-Hour Single Camera Series:
– Winner: “The Studio”, Set Decoration by Claire Kaufman SDSA with Production Design by Julie Berghoff
– Other Nominees: “Hacks” S4, “The Righteous Gemstones” S4, “Only Murders In The Building” S4, “What We Do In The Shadows” S6
