The upcoming episode of WWE NXT is set to be a special one as the brand is making a return to the Performance Center for the first time in the CW Network era. In anticipation of tonight’s episode, Shawn Michaels has shared a message with fans to build excitement for what’s to come.
The fifth annual Halloween Havoc event is just around the corner, scheduled to take place at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA. After starting off the CW era with shows in Chicago and St. Louis, the NXT Superstars are back home for what promises to be a thrilling episode. Tonight, Oro Mensah will go head-to-head with Lexis King in a Gentleman’s Duel, newly crowned North American Champion Tony D’Angelo will celebrate his recent title win, and NXT Champion Trick Williams will learn who his challenger will be for Halloween Havoc as Ethan Page, Wes Lee, and Je’Von Evans face off in a Triple-Threat match.
Shawn Michaels, also known as the Heartbreak Kid, took to social media to hype up the NXT fans for tonight’s action-packed episode. As the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative at World Wrestling Entertainment, Michaels assured fans that the NXT train is not slowing down anytime soon.
In his message, Michaels wrote, “We’re back home from a two-week road trip, but the #WWENXT train isn’t slowing down one bit! A Triple Threat Match determines @_trickwilliams’s next challenger for the NXT Title, @nikkita_wwe returns to action against @lolavicewwe, and @Steph_Vaquer’s NXT in-ring debut … all TONIGHT at 8/7c on @TheCW.”
Tonight’s Halloween Havoc build will also see the return of the popular “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal” gimmick. Additionally, several exciting singles matches have been announced for the episode, including Stephanie Vaquer’s in-ring debut against Wren Sinclair, Nikkita Lyons’ return to the ring against Lola Vice, and a match between Ridge Holland and Riley Osborne.
