A Kentucky Teacher Arrested for Sending Explicit Messages to Fifth-Grade Student

A Kentucky teacher, Sydnee Graf, 36, was arrested for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a fifth-grade student, including one disturbing text that read, “I need to taste that d–k.” Graf, who taught math at Smyrna Elementary School in Louisville, was apprehended on Dec. 15 while on her way to pick up the young boy from his home after exchanging the inappropriate messages during a virtual learning day.

According to court documents, the police discovered the disturbing conversation after the school district learned that the student, who was under 12 years old, had been sexually exploited during remote instruction. The messages included discussions about oral sodomy, with Graf allegedly making plans to meet the child near his home after school to engage in sexual acts.

Sydnee Graf, 36, was arrested on Dec. 15 and charged with procuring and promoting the use of a minor by electronic means. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department

The suspect allegedly wrote in one exchange, “I really need to taste that d–k Fr Fr,” as reported by People. Authorities found snapshots and video recordings of the conversation, capturing the alleged predator’s face and name displayed on the computer screen.

After her arrest, Graf reportedly admitted to sending the vile messages to the young student. She was charged with procuring and promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.

The elementary school has reassigned Graf to a non-student role during the investigation. Principal Amanda Cooper informed families in a message that staff members involved in the case will not have contact with students during the investigation.

Graf pleaded not guilty at her arraignment and was granted a $100,000 bond. She is prohibited from having contact with the victim or using social media. Graf is currently on house arrest and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 26.
