… Threatened Me to Drink Bleach While Pregnant

Skai Jackson has accused the father of her baby, Deondre Burgin, of terrorizing her for over a year. The alleged Mother’s Day assault was the breaking point for her.
According to legal documents filed by Skai in L.A. County Superior Court, she claims that Deondre attacked her on Mother’s Day while she was holding their 3-month-old baby boy, Kasai.
The legal documents state that Deondre grabbed Skai by her hair, slammed her head against a car window, and punched her in the face during the Mother’s Day incident.
Skai alleges that this pattern of violence is not new, citing a 6-month period in 2024 when Burgin would abuse her weekly. The abuse included choking, scratching, and slamming her head into a wall. She also claims that Burgin damaged her personal property.
During her pregnancy, Skai alleges that Burgin demanded she drink bleach to terminate the pregnancy. He also threatened her with a knife, warning that he would stab her if she called for help.
In another incident, Skai claims that Burgin punched through a bathroom door, physically assaulted her, and choked her until she couldn’t breathe. She states that she has video evidence to support her claims.
Deondre Burgin has a history of legal issues, including a recent arrest on an outstanding warrant. At the time of Skai’s childbirth in January, Burgin was serving a 90-day jail sentence for a parole violation.
Skai expresses fear for her safety as Burgin owns firearms, including a rifle. She has requested a restraining order to keep him 100 yards away from her, their child, and their pet, as well as mandatory participation in a domestic violence treatment program.
