Bowen Yang Makes Hilarious Appearance as George Santos on âWeekend Updateâ
Bowen Yang brought the laughs during his appearance as former U.S. congressman George Santos on âSaturday Night Liveâsâ âWeekend Updateâ segment.
Colin Jost introduced Santos as âthe worldâs number one marathonerâ before he hilariously claimed to have already finished the New York City marathon, which was happening the following day.
Yangâs Santos, who had his prison sentence commuted by President Donald Trump for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, joked about his time behind bars and his newfound wealth.
During the segment, Santos humorously claimed to have taken a trip to the Louvre and sported a large necklace that he jokingly said belonged to his ancestors, the Zales.
The âWeekend Updateâ segment also touched on Prince Andrew being stripped of his royal title, Trumpâs White House bathroom model, Texas suing Tylenol, and Japanâs new prime minister nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Overall, Yangâs portrayal of George Santos provided plenty of laughs and added to the comedic relief of the show.
