“On her way to unveil these designs,” Sofia Richie Grainge shared in a recent Instagram update—one hand on her blossoming belly while the other held a cup of coffee. At four and a half months pregnant with her second child, the influencer-turned-designer was heading to Sotheby’s Beverly Hills to present SRG, her eagerly awaited ready-to-wear line under the Revolve and FWRD brands.
The collection—boasting over fifty elegantly crafted pieces—showcased an effortless sophistication: tailored ponchos, sleek pencil skirts in rich suede, and trench coats adorned with integrated scarves. The venue mirrored this style, transformed from an auction house into a monochromatic dream filled with deep burgundy draperies, sumptuous carpeting, and softly illuminated displays.
Grainge, mocktail in hand, welcomed friends and supporters throughout the night, often pausing to share a smile with her husband, Elliot Grainge, before catching up with Vogue.
“Why am I perpetually pregnant?” she chuckled, reminiscing about our last encounter—at a beauty event she organized in Santa Monica. “Anyway.” The designer elaborated that SRG had been in the works for years, well before her viral wedding made her a symbol of understated luxury. “It genuinely began with my stylist, Liat Baruch—who has greatly influenced my personal aesthetic.”
For the event, Grainge opted for a silk bomber with speckles paired with sleek black trousers from her own collection. “I aimed for pieces that are timeless and elegant yet make you feel fabulous,” she noted. “Chic, yet playful and youthful. Some may find it challenging to reconcile these concepts—but they harmonize beautifully.”
As the evening progressed, live models displayed key pieces from the collection while guests enjoyed refreshments and mingled. Attendees left with engraved Jo Malone candles—a perfectly subtle keepsake from an event that beautifully encapsulated Sofia Richie Grainge’s signature blend of sophistication and ease.
