SPB Hospitality, a US-based company and a portfolio company of Fortress Investment Group, has recently announced the appointment of Tonya R Robinson as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Robinson will be stepping into this role immediately, taking over from Jessica Hagler who has left the company.

As part of SPB Hospitality’s senior leadership team, Robinson will play a key role in further developing the company’s operational base and supporting the future growth of its restaurant brands. GJ Hart, the chairman and CEO of SPB Hospitality, expressed his confidence in Robinson, stating that her extensive experience in the restaurant industry will be invaluable to the company.

In her new position, Robinson will be responsible for overseeing the group’s finance functions, which include accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, and capital management. Additionally, she will have oversight of IT, licensing, legal, and will participate in long-term strategic planning for SPB Hospitality’s portfolio.

Robinson brings with her 25 years of experience in the restaurant sector, having previously served as the CFO of Texas Roadhouse from 2018 to 2023. During her time at Texas Roadhouse, she was responsible for regulatory reporting, multi-site operations, investor relations, financial planning, and capital allocation.

Expressing her excitement about joining SPB Hospitality, Robinson stated, “SPB has tremendous potential, and I look forward to partnering with GJ and the entire leadership team to help drive disciplined financial strategy, support operational excellence, and ensure we are well-positioned for sustainable growth.”

This recent appointment comes on the heels of SPB Hospitality promoting Ryan Russell to the role of Chief of Staff in October 2025. With these strategic leadership changes, SPB Hospitality is poised for continued success and growth in the restaurant industry.
