Events manager Elinor Birch mentioned the challenges in recruiting volunteers due to the pandemic, resulting in a more focused collection effort this year. The national fundraising goal is set at $200,000, crucial for the organization to continue its work.
Volunteers can also take on the role of an area co-ordinator, leading collection sites and managing volunteers.
