A tragic incident occurred outside a bowling alley in Walden, resulting in the death of one woman and serious injuries to another. The Colorado State Patrol arrested 21-year-old Carver Davis on suspicion of vehicular homicide and assault in connection to the crash.
The victims, 18-year-old Borrero Azucena Del Pilar and Molly Smith, were struck by Davis’ Chevy Silverado as he failed to navigate a curve on Main Street near Colorado 125. The two women were standing outside a vehicle in the parking lot of The 10th Frame when the accident occurred.
Davis, a resident of Steamboat Springs, remained at the scene of the crash, cooperated with authorities, and voluntarily surrendered himself to the Routt County Jail on Monday.
