During the recent gala event for the American Humane Society at President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, Stephen Colbert of the “Late Show” described a truly bizarre scene. Instead of cute doggy decorations, attendees were surprised to find sexualized human-dog hybrids in ball gowns.
Colbert humorously rolled footage of the event, showcasing costumed dancers with dog heads. “I don’t remember smoking peyote in a PetSmart today,” Colbert joked.
Trump, who arrived late to the party, must have found the scene confusing given his already tenuous grasp on reality. Colbert even did an impression of the president reacting to the unusual sight.
“Holy shit, what is happening here?” Colbert mimicked Trump. “Wow! They really upped the challenge on these cognitive tests.”
