“Stranger Things” is nearing its final season, and the iconic Byers’ family home, located in California but actually in New Mexico, has been sold to new owners.
Sources reveal that the final sale price remains undisclosed, but the house was originally listed for $675K in February and sold for less than the asking price. It seems like a great deal for the buyers, without any Demogorgon included!
Although it’s unclear if the new owners are avid fans of the show, the “California” residence served as the post-Hawkins, Indiana home for the Byers family and Eleven. The 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom, 4,350 square foot house even features a backyard pond.
The Byers’ house, prominently featured on “Stranger Things,” offers a glimpse into the show’s universe with its unique charm, spacious layout, and picturesque surroundings.
Previously owned since 2021, the property was transformed into a short-term rental, following the trend of the original Byers’ house from earlier seasons, which also became an Airbnb rental.
Cindy Gomez from Realty One of New Mexico represented the buyers during the sale process.
