Sustainability In Your Ear Special: Live From New York, It’s Climate Week!
SHARE

Join us today at 5:00 PM Eastern for a pivotal live event as the global community converges in New York for the UN General Assembly and Climate Week. Earth911’s Mitch Ratcliffe will guide us through the live online coverage of the launch of Newday Impact Investing’s innovative Causeway impact investing app. He’ll be joined by Douglas Heske and Hunter Lovins, co-founder of COPx, the People’s COP, an alternative platform to the increasingly oil industry-influenced annual U.N. event scheduled for this November in Brazil.

Be part of an afternoon dedicated to authenticity, leadership, and action as we highlight the contributions of women striving for global change and unveil Causeway — a dynamic participatory platform aimed at enabling individuals and organizations to invest capital towards meaningful, measurable impact.

Why is now the critical moment? Leaders from the nonprofit and grassroots sectors face extraordinary challenges including dwindling funding, heightened skepticism, and political pressures, while ineffective systems hinder genuine progress. Causeway is specifically designed to address these challenges, championing radical transparency, democratic leadership, and accountable capital, effectively connecting financial resources with those driving change at the grassroots level. Together, we aim to:

✅ Tackle systemic obstacles

✅ Share impactful success stories

✅ Introduce Causeway as a tool for actionable results

✅ Ignite momentum for a new era of participatory impact investing

Opening Dialogue: Reimagining Impact through Capital, Climate, and Community

The evening commences with a thought-provoking discussion led by Doug Heske, CEO of Newday Financial Technologies, along with Hunter Lovins, Co-CEO of COPx Global. This dialogue will explore the intersection of financial systems, climate leadership, and grassroots movements, illuminating the path forward as we strive to meet today’s urgency in addressing climate issues.
