Tamar Braxton’s recent comments on “The NeNe Leakes Show” have sparked some controversy as she expressed her wish that things had gone differently when she first launched “The Real.” While discussing NeNe Leakes’ claim that she was initially chosen to cohost the show before Loni Love took her place, Braxton humorously mentioned that she would have made different choices if she had known. She jokingly said, “I wish they would have told me. I wouldn’t have cast big back Cadillac. We’d probably be in our 10th season by now. Thanks. Ain’t that dumb?”
Although Braxton clarified that her comments were not meant as shade, the reactions on set and Leakes’ immediate sip of a drink indicated that the statement raised some eyebrows. However, in May 2016, it was announced that Braxton would be leaving the show after two seasons to focus on her solo career.
