Introducing Nicole Homerin
Nicole infuses her work with a deep commitment to inclusive education and accessible learning.
With over ten years in the education sector, Nicole has specialized in teaching preschool and early elementary special education. Her focus has been on assisting students who are deafblind, have multiple disabilities, or are medically complex. Her focus on catering to each student’s individual needs has been a guiding principle in her teaching and resource creation.
Currently, Nicole is a home teacher for a medically complex 3-year-old and is also involved in disability advocacy and curriculum development with various nonprofits and foundations. Her broad experience in different educational settings provides her with a unique insight into developing resources that are inclusive, engaging, and adaptable for a wide range of learners.
Nicole is dedicated to equipping educators with tools to deliver impactful learning experiences, enabling all students to thrive.

Which aspect of the student experience is foremost in your mind when designing your materials?
In developing materials and curriculum, I prioritize Universal Design for Learning, recognizing that each child learns differently and requires individualized support to enhance their learning experience. I aim to integrate diverse modalities and consider varied experiences to accommodate the diverse needs of students.
What should teachers anticipate when utilizing one of your Premium resources?
Teachers can expect to find stimulating and engaging learning experiences, with multiple ways to interact with the material and tailor it to meet different needs.
