Is “Ted Lasso” Season 4 in the Works? Nick Mohammed Drops Clues
While fans eagerly await confirmation of “Ted Lasso” Season 4, Nick Mohammed, who portrays assistant coach Nate Shelley in the hit series, has sparked speculation about the show’s potential return.
In a recent video posted on X, Mohammed shared that some of his upcoming tour dates for the “Show Pony” tour had to be rescheduled due to filming commitments. He cryptically hinted at a project he couldn’t shift, leading many to believe it could be related to the beloved comedy series.
Despite his reluctance to engage in fan theories, Mohammed held up a sign that simply read “BELIEVE,” a clear nod to the possibility of Season 4. The actor’s performance in the show earned him two Primetime Emmy nominations for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.
Speculation about the show’s future intensified in August when it was reported that Warner Bros. Television was moving closer to greenlighting another season. Key cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift, had their options picked up, signaling a potential return to the world of Richmond FC.
While details remain scarce, Jason Sudeikis, who stars as the titular character and co-created the series, is rumored to be involved as an executive producer. However, neither Sudeikis nor the studio have officially confirmed his participation.
In a previous interview with Variety, Warner Bros. Television CEO Channing Dungey expressed optimism about the show’s future, hinting at ongoing discussions and a shared enthusiasm for “Ted Lasso.” While nothing is set in stone, Dungey left the door open for more episodes, stating, “There is still a lot of love for ‘Ted Lasso.’ Should the opportunity arise, we’d be excited to jump back into making more.”
