Teddi Mellencamp had a memorable Mother’s Day, as she was pampered by her children. The 41-year-old reality star took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her special day with her daughters Slate and Dove, as well as her son Cruz, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave.
“The kiddos spoiled me,” Mellencamp captioned a photo on her Instagram Story. She expressed her happiness and gratitude for the love and blessings she received on Mother’s Day.
In April, Mellencamp bravely showed off the scars from her recent brain surgery at an event benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund. She underwent surgery to remove two tumors that had metastasized from her Melanoma diagnosis.
Hours before the event, Mellencamp took to Instagram to share her emotional journey, revealing that it had been 76 days since she was diagnosed with multiple stage 4 tumors in her brain and lungs. Despite the challenges she faced, Mellencamp found peace and strength in the support of her family, friends, and followers.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star first disclosed her stage 2 melanoma diagnosis in October 2022. She recently received news of another abnormal spot near her previous scar, leading to a biopsy and a subsequent diagnosis of stage 2 melanoma. Mellencamp is determined to fight this battle and raise awareness about the importance of skin protection and early detection.
Mellencamp’s personal life has also seen changes, as she filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave in November 2024. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, have been navigating through their separation while focusing on co-parenting their children.
