On Monday, friends and family gathered to say their final goodbyes to the California teenager found dismembered and hidden in the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla. Celeste Rivas, aged 15, was laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights, approximately 50 miles from her Lake Elsinore home.
A small gathering of mourners, dressed in black and sheltered by dark umbrellas, gently carried her casket to the gravesite after it was transported in a white hearse.
Celeste had been missing since she was 13, and her family received the devastating news of her death just last month, following the discovery of her body in the trunk of D4vd’s car, which was found at a Hollywood Hills impound lot.
The nature of her relationship with D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, remains uncertain. Over the years, speculation has persisted about him dating someone named Celeste, while her family believes she was involved with an individual named David.
Recently, unreleased lyrics from D4vd surfaced online, featuring a song where he sings about a girl named Celeste.
D4vd has been “cooperating with authorities” since the body was discovered in his vehicle.
