AEW is gearing up for its highly anticipated event, All In: Texas, and the wrestling community is abuzz with excitement. However, amidst all the hype surrounding the upcoming pay-per-view, Teil Rhodes has brought to light the fact that she never received any royalties for her contribution to the original event that paved the way for AEW’s inception.

In 2018, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks joined forces with Ring of Honor to produce the inaugural All In event. This independent supershow showcased some of the biggest names in wrestling and served as a precursor to the formation of All Elite Wrestling a few months later. While Cody and the Bucks were the masterminds behind All In, it was actually Cody’s sister, Teil Rhodes, who came up with the event’s name. Despite this widely known fact among fans, Tony Khan allegedly failed to compensate Teil after acquiring the rights to All In following his purchase of ROH.

Taking to Twitter, Teil responded to a fan who highlighted her role in naming All In and subtly criticized AEW by stating, “Very Rhodes of me to conceptualize a generational wrestling event and get no royalties 🥲🥹.”

In the lead-up to All In: Texas, AEW faces stiff competition from WWE this weekend. Tony Khan took a significant risk by hosting the All In event at Wembley Stadium, marking the company’s first-ever stadium show. This year, AEW has raised the stakes by bringing its marquee event to the United States. However, with WWE still dominating the wrestling landscape, filling Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX was no easy task. Complicating matters further, WWE has scheduled three separate events over the weekend, including NXT Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Despite the challenges, All In: Texas has managed to sell over 20,000 tickets, with more expected to be purchased in the final week leading up to the event. The success of AEW’s first US stadium show remains to be seen, but the wrestling world is eager to witness the outcome.

As the anticipation for All In: Texas continues to build, wrestling fans are eagerly awaiting the showdown between AEW and WWE this weekend. With both companies vying for viewership and fan engagement, the competition is sure to be fierce. Stay tuned for more updates on this epic clash in the world of professional wrestling.
