Temperley’s Fall 2026 Collection: A Tribute to Old Hollywood Glamour
For her Fall 2026 collection, Alice Temperley drew inspiration from the Golden Age of Hollywood, particularly the iconic stars of the 1930s and ’40s such as Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Greta Garbo, and Marlene Dietrich. In a preview of the collection, Temperley expressed her admiration for these timeless figures, stating that the collection is a tribute to her all-time icons.
Known for her opulent and embellished evening gowns, Temperley decided to push the boundaries this season by introducing statement outerwear pieces. Among the standout pieces were a made-to-order faux fur coat and a leopard-print trench coat, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to the collection.
In addition to her eveningwear, Temperley also focused on expanding her daywear offerings. She incorporated embroidered cropped leather jackets that harkened back to the bohemian roots of her brand in the early 2000s. Rather than conforming to the trend of delivering wardrobe staples, Temperley chose to stay true to her brand’s DNA, offering unique and special pieces that showcase intricate details such as ornate beading, delicate floral embroidery, and gold studded separates.
While dresses have always been a staple of the Temperley brand, this season saw a greater emphasis on tailoring. The collection featured new iterations of the three-piece velvet suiting that has been popular among customers, with Temperley herself modeling the burgundy version paired with a fedora hat at her Sloane Square store. The lookbook for the collection was shot in the brand’s Somerset studio, featuring model Arizona Muse and Temperley’s step-daughter India, highlighting the personal and intimate nature of the brand.
Temperley’s Fall 2026 collection is a reflection of the designer and her inner circle, staying true to the brand’s ethos and continuing to captivate audiences with its timeless elegance and sophisticated charm.
