Shudder, the popular streaming service, has recently announced the renewal of the Emmy-nominated series “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” for its seventh season. This exciting news comes as part of a new multi-project deal with drag stars Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet.
In addition to renewing “Dragula,” Shudder has also confirmed that the reality competition series’ all-star spinoff, “The Boulet Brothers Dragula: Titans,” will be returning for a second season. Fans can also look forward to a new holiday special titled “The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors,” featuring actor David Dastmalchian from “Late Night with the Devil” as co-host.
Production has already begun on the second season of “Titans,” which is set to premiere later this year on Shudder and AMC+. While premiere dates for “Dragula” and “Holiday of Horrors” have yet to be announced, fans can expect more monstrous mayhem and dark tales in the near future.
The Boulet Brothers expressed their excitement about the renewed partnership with Shudder and AMC+ in a joint statement, stating, “It ensures the underworld stays wide open for many years to come — welcoming fresh souls, darker tales, and even more monstrous mayhem.” They also teased the upcoming “Holiday of Horrors” anthology special, promising something truly diabolical.
Courtney Thomasma, AMC Networks’ EVP of linear and streaming products, praised The Boulet Brothers for their iconic and passionate flair in pushing boundaries within the reality competition space. She expressed enthusiasm for the future projects that Drac and Swan will bring to audiences.
Both “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula” and “The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans” are executive produced and directed by the Boulets themselves, with David Sigurani serving as executive producer for both series.
Represented by CAA and managed by PEG, The Boulet Brothers have made a significant impact in the entertainment industry with their unique vision and creative storytelling. Their continued collaboration with Shudder promises more thrilling and innovative content for fans to enjoy.
With the success of “Dragula” and its spinoff series, as well as the upcoming holiday special, it’s clear that The Boulet Brothers are on a path to even greater success in the world of horror and reality television. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting projects as they develop.
