The Death Riders recently made a splash in the wrestling world with their performance outside AEW, but their reception from fans was less than welcoming. The team, consisting of Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Claudio Castagnoli, competed in a series of matches in Mexico that garnered mixed reactions from the audience.

In a two-day event in Mexico, The Death Riders faced off against Los Hermanos Chavez for the CMLL Tag Team Championships. Despite a valiant effort, Yuta and Garcia were unable to secure the victory. However, Castagnoli managed to claim the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Ultimo Guerrero in a thrilling match.

The following night, The Death Riders participated in a trios match at Arena Coliseo, where they emerged victorious over the team of Ultimo Guerrero, Difunto, and Esfinge. Following the event, Garcia shared a video on Instagram showing fans mobbing him as he left the venue, showcasing the intense fan response to their performance.

Meanwhile, Marina Shafir, a key member of The Death Riders, found herself embroiled in a heated feud with former AEW champion Toni Storm. The two are set to face off in a Hardcore Holiday Death Match on Dynamite, with tensions running high between the competitors. In a fiery message, Shafir expressed her ruthless intentions towards Storm and her partner, Mina Shirakawa, setting the stage for an intense showdown.

As the rivalry between The Death Riders and their opponents escalates, fans are eagerly anticipating the outcome of these high-stakes matchups. With the stakes higher than ever, it remains to be seen which team will emerge victorious in the end.
