Sasha Alexander has officially signed on to join the cast of the fourth season of Netflix’s hit series “The Lincoln Lawyer.” In this upcoming season, she will take on the role of FBI Agent Dawn Ruth, a character described as “no nonsense” and “intimidating.” The streaming platform teased that Dawn, along with her colleague, will pay a visit to high-rolling defense attorney Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, to strongly suggest that he abandon his investigation into the FBI.
“The Lincoln Lawyer” is a television adaptation of the popular book series by Michael Connelly and was created for TV by David E. Kelley. The show follows Mickey Haller as he navigates the legal world of Los Angeles, often being chauffeured around in his trusty Lincoln Navigator. Alongside Garcia-Rulfo, the series also stars Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta.
The third season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” left viewers on the edge of their seats with a major cliffhanger, but details about the release date of the fourth season are still under wraps. Show co-runner Dailyn Rodriguez revealed to Variety that the upcoming season will be based on the book “The Law of Innocence.” The third season performed exceptionally well on Netflix, garnering 7 million views within the first four days of its release and securing the series a spot at No. 2 on the English-language TV chart.
Sasha Alexander is no stranger to the small screen, having previously starred in popular shows like “Shameless” and “NCIS.” Her diverse acting credits also include appearances in “The Morning Show,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” and films like “Mission: Impossible III” and “He’s Just Not That Into You.” In addition to her acting chops, Alexander has also ventured into directing, having helmed episodes of shows like CBS’ “Bull” and Netflix’s “You.”
Represented by Untitled Entertainment, Sasha Alexander continues to impress audiences with her talent both in front of and behind the camera. Fans can look forward to seeing her bring FBI Agent Dawn Ruth to life in the upcoming season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” on Netflix.
