What to Expect from Season 14 of “The Masked Singer”

After the exciting conclusion of “The Masked Singer: Lucky Season 13” on Wednesday night, Fox has announced that fans will have to wait a little longer for the next season. Season 14 of the hit singing competition will not premiere until January 2026, a departure from the show’s usual fall schedule. The news was revealed in a statement released by the network, promising a spectacular and super-charged new season when the show returns next year.

The decision to delay the premiere of Season 14 until January is a strategic move by Fox to give the show ample runway and to explore creative enhancements that will feature some of the biggest names at the center of the competition. This break will allow the show to build anticipation and excitement among its dedicated fanbase.

Since its debut in 2019, “The Masked Singer” has captivated audiences with its unique concept of celebrity contestants singing in elaborate costumes to conceal their identities. The show features a panel of celebrity judges, including Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke, who try to guess the singers’ identities. Hosted by Nick Cannon, the show has consistently ranked among the top 10 unscripted entertainment programs in its previous seasons.

Some of the celebrities unmasked in the latest season include Taika Waititi as Lucky Duck, Edwin McCain as Nessy, and Method Man as Stud Muffin. The show’s success can be attributed to its engaging format and the star-studded lineup of contestants.

“The Masked Singer” is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment, with Rosie Seitchik, Craig Plestis, and Nick Cannon serving as executive producers. The series is based on the South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp.
