“The Pitt” Adds Sepideh Moafi to Season 2 Cast
Exciting news for fans of the hit Max series “The Pitt” as Sepideh Moafi joins the cast for its highly anticipated second season. Production for the new season kicked off in June in Los Angeles, with Moafi taking on a series regular role as an attending physician in emergency medicine.
“The Pitt” was renewed for Season 2 in February, just a month after its premiere. The show, led by Noah Wyle, offers a realistic portrayal of the challenges faced by healthcare workers in today’s America, focusing on the frontline heroes at a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
Moafi, known for her roles in HBO’s “The Deuce” and Showtime’s “The L Word: Generation Q,” brings a wealth of talent to the series. Her recent credits also include FX/Hulu’s “Class of ’09” and Apple TV+’s “Blackbird,” along with several notable film appearances.
Represented by Principal Entertainment LA, Gersh, ID Public Relations, and Schreck Rose, Moafi’s addition to the cast further enhances the star-studded lineup of “The Pitt.” Season 1, consisting of 15 episodes, captivated audiences with its unique format, showcasing a 15-hour shift at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital in each episode.
