The Red Chickz, a popular fast-casual restaurant brand based in the US, has recently announced new franchise development agreements in Alabama, Connecticut, and Georgia. These agreements are part of the company’s coast-to-coast expansion strategy, aimed at solidifying its presence in the hot chicken category.

CEO and co-founder of The Red Chickz, Shawn Lalehzarian, expressed excitement about the strategic growth opportunities these new agreements present. He emphasized the importance of partnering with strong franchisees in dynamic markets to introduce their bold flavors and high-energy dining experience to new communities across the country.

The expansion into Alabama and Georgia was described as a natural fit for The Red Chickz, given the demand for Southern-inspired flavors in these regions. On the other hand, Connecticut marks the company’s first foray into New England, expanding its network along the East Coast and tapping into densely populated markets.

Spencer Sabatasso, the development vice-president at The Red Chickz, highlighted the purposeful nature of their expansion efforts. He emphasized the scalability, strong unit economics, and operational simplicity of their business model, which have inspired confidence in franchisees seeking long-term success with the brand.

With franchise arrangements now covering several states, including Alabama, California, Connecticut, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Texas, The Red Chickz is steadily growing its footprint across the US. Currently, the chain has 55 locations in development, with plans for more multi-unit agreements in the pipeline through 2026.
