Mmmmm… Lego: Krusty Burger Set Coming Soon!
Get ready Lego fans, because the iconic brick building brand is bringing back a beloved Springfield favorite with its latest high-end, adult-targeted set. In collaboration with 20th Television Animation and the Walt Disney Co., Lego is set to release a new set inspired by none other than Krusty Burger from “The Simpsons”.
Previous Lego creations for “The Simpsons” have delighted fans with sets like the Simpson family home and the Kwik-E-Mart. Now, with the upcoming Krusty Burger set, builders will have the opportunity to construct a detailed replica of the famous fast food restaurant. This 1,635-piece set, part of the Lego Icons line, will feature intricate details such as the kitchen, dining area, restroom, drive-thru, and outdoor pole sign.
But that’s not all – the set will also include a replica of Homer’s iconic clown car. With a roof that lifts and unfolds to reveal a highly detailed interior filled with Easter eggs and memorable features, this model is sure to delight fans of the show.
Seven minifigures will be included in the Krusty Burger set, featuring Homer, Bart, and Lisa Simpson, as well as Farmer Krusty, Sideshow Bob, Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou.
For eager fans, the Krusty Burger set will be available for Lego Insiders Early Access members on June 1, with a wider release on June 4. The set will retail for $209.99.
Additionally, Lego Insiders who purchase the set from June 1 to June 7 will receive a special gift with purchase: The Simpsons Living Room set. This 123-piece set, suitable for players aged 10 and older, includes the Simpson family couch, a table with a lamp and phone, a rug, a remote control, and a Krusty Burger drink. The living room also features the iconic sailboat painting and a Krusty Burger ad on the TV screen, all in perfect scale for minifigures.
