Dan Fogler Reveals Interest in Joining Star Wars and Indiana Jones Franchises
Dan Fogler, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and Fantastic Beasts series, recently expressed his desire to be part of two major geeky franchises that he has yet to work on. At MCM Comic Con London, Fogler shared his interest in joining the Star Wars and Indiana Jones worlds.
“I got to work with [James] Mangold recently on A Complete Unknown… Mangold was connected to Indiana Jones, and he’s going to do a Star Wars movie at some point. So I’m just like, see what happens there. Give him a little text. But I would love to be in that world. I’d love to be in the Indiana Jones world too, if they can squeeze one more movie out of it.”
When discussing the vast Star Wars TV universe, Fogler acknowledged the opportunities present in the franchise, stating, “Right? There’s so much… the odds are in my favour.”
Fogler’s mention of the Mangold Star Wars project hints at a new exploration of the Jedi origins and the mysterious Force, set thousands of years before the prequel trilogy. Additionally, Star Wars has various upcoming projects, including The Mandalorian & Grogu Movie, Ahsoka season 2, and a film by Taika Waititi.
While Fogler expressed his interest in these iconic franchises, other stars like David Tennant, known for Doctor Who and Good Omens, also made an appearance at Comic Con, teasing a secret project he has been working on.
