Additionally, tools like ChatGPT can help counselors quickly generate blurbs about colleges for students.

Another area where AI tools can be beneficial is in email triage. An AI tool trained on past emails can draft responses to new emails based on previous interactions, ultimately saving counselors time and increasing efficiency in communication.

With regards to using AI tools with students, Neill highlights the importance of teaching responsible and ethical use of these tools. Students can leverage AI as a sounding board for feedback on their essays or to help them formulate concise descriptions for college applications. By empowering students to use AI tools effectively, they can receive timely feedback and guidance on their academic endeavors.
