The Dreamland heated throw is a game-changer when it comes to staying warm and cozy during the chilly winter months. It may have been my only purchase during last year’s Black Friday sale, but it has proven to be worth every penny. This plug-in heated throw has become an essential part of my daily routine, keeping me comfortable and saving me money on heating bills.

Priced at £59.99 on Dreamland’s website, this heated throw is a steal compared to its RRP of £94.99. While it is also available on Amazon for £69.99, the best deal can be found directly from the manufacturer. The version I opted for is a stylish mustard velvet with a chevron pattern, but there are various materials and designs to choose from, including a budget-friendly plain velvet option in black or pink for £39.99 from Currys.

One of the standout features of the Dreamland heated throw is its energy efficiency. With a power rating of 150W, it costs only around 4p an hour to run on my current tariff. Thanks to its low setting, you can stay warm without consuming a lot of energy, making it a cost-effective way to keep cozy. In fact, I was able to request a refund from my energy supplier in January because my energy usage was much lower than their estimate.

The blanket boasts “Intelliheat” technology, which ensures that it adjusts to your temperature needs. With six heat settings and a timer for one, three, or nine hours, you can customize your comfort level and set it to automatically turn off after a specified time. The control pad is user-friendly, with simple buttons for temperature and timer settings, as well as a power switch. Plus, it can be easily detached for washing and is even tumble dryer-safe.

Safety is a top priority with Dreamland’s heated blankets, as they are Kema-Keur safety tested and come with a two-year warranty for added peace of mind. Whether you opt for the luxurious velvet version or a fun Stranger Things-branded design, this heated throw is a must-have for staying warm and cozy until spring arrives.

If you’re looking for more ways to stay warm this winter, check out our recommendations for the best portable and plug-in heaters we’ve tested. Stay cozy and comfortable with the Dreamland heated throw – the best purchase you’ll make this year.
