Celebrity stylist Liat Baruch and NBC Universal media executive David Vickter’s love story began in the summer of 2021 when mutual friends introduced them. Initially starting off as friends due to Liat’s frequent travels, the two soon found themselves inseparable, bonding over coffee dates, errands, lunches, and commiserating about the Los Angeles dating scene.
Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship in November 2024, reminiscent of a real-life “When Harry Met Sally” scenario. Liat fondly recalls, “We’re still best friends who genuinely love doing life together…only now, we get to do it as partners.”
After deciding to take their relationship to the next level, David proposed to Liat during one of their Sunday morning hikes at Fryman Canyon in March 2025. Following their engagement, the couple wasted no time in planning their wedding, setting the date for June 15, 2025, at the picturesque Hummingbird Nest Ranch in the Santa Susana Mountains. Despite the short timeframe of just two and a half months, with the assistance of wedding planners Rikki and Mal, Liat and David managed to organize a stunning event seamlessly.
“We knew we needed support with our busy schedules, and having Rikki and Mal on board to guide us through the planning process made all the difference,” Liat explains. The couple placed their trust in their wedding planners to bring their vision to life, ensuring that every detail was taken care of without feeling overwhelmed.
