On a recent episode of ABC’s This Week, Massie addressed the administration’s failure to comply with legal mandates to disclose all documents related to Epstein.
When Martha Raddatz inquired about his confidence in Attorney General Pam Bondi, Massie did not hold back:
I doubt Pam Bondi has confidence in her own capabilities. She seemed more interested in name-calling during hearings than in providing substantive answers. Thus, my confidence in her is nonexistent. She has failed to ensure accountability at the Department of Justice.
When I pressed her about who was responsible for redacting Leslie Wexner’s name from a crucial document, she evaded my question. Ultimately, the responsibility for document production lies with her, as the attorney general.
It’s not Todd Blanche or the staff beneath her. You can delegate tasks, but you cannot delegate your responsibility.
Massie’s critiques did not stop there. He also articulated why the Epstein scandal continues to shadow Trump, suggesting that the specter of this controversy will not easily dissipate.
