This past weekend, “Saturday Night Live” delighted its audience with a nostalgic and politically charged reunion of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, as they took on the roles of two notable allies of Donald Trump.
Poehler opened the sketch as the MAGA Attorney General Pam Bondi, with Fey making a surprising appearance as the armed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
Poehler’s Bondi cleverly remarked, “Before I abstain from answering, let me personally insult you,” setting the stage for a comedic roast-style mock hearing filled with quick-witted political commentary. Fey’s Noem made her entrance wielding an oversized gun, exclaiming, “I’m the rarest breed in Washington D.C. … a brunette Donald Trump pays attention to.”
The skit took direct inspiration from current events, with Fey humorously mimicking Noem’s notorious tale about shooting her dog, delivering the punchline, “Dogs don’t just get murdered – heroes are the ones who shoot them.”

Aubrey Plaza also made a notable appearance in a parody of “Hunting Wives.” Shortly after, Tina, Amy, and Seth Meyers reunited at the Weekend Update desk.
With their undeniable chemistry and sharp comedic instincts, Tina and Amy reminded everyone why they reign supreme in the realm of satire.
