‘Titan’ Director On How OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush’s Ego-Driven Hubris Led To Tragedy

The Netflix documentary “Titan: The OceanGate Disaster” delves into the tragic events surrounding the fatal submersible disaster that took place in 2023. Directed by Mark Monroe, the film explores the implosion of the vessel during its sixth descent to the Titanic wreckage in the North Atlantic, resulting in the loss of five lives, including OceanGate’s co-founder and CEO Stockton Rush.
