Jeanette Spicer is a talented artist who has received grants from prestigious organizations such as The Penumbra Foundation, The New York Foundation for the Arts, The Queens Council, and The Magenta Foundation. Her work has been showcased at renowned venues like Rencontres d’Arles, Baxter Street Camera Club, and Weitman Gallery in St. Louis. In 2025, Spicer’s series, “To the Ends of the Earth,” was acquired by The Brooklyn Museum, solidifying her place in the art world.

In 2018, Spicer published her first monograph, “Sea(see),” in collaboration with Kris Graves Projects. Following its success, she released “To the Ends of the Earth” with GOST Books in 2024, which was later shortlisted for the Rencontres d’Arles Photo Book Award in 2025. Spicer’s dedication to her craft is evident in her educational background, having earned her MFA from Parsons the New School for Design.

Currently residing and working in Queens, New York, Spicer continues to push boundaries and explore new artistic horizons. Her unique perspective and creative vision have captivated audiences and critics alike, making her a rising star in the contemporary art scene.
