Chase Burns, the No. 2 overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft, is set to make his major league debut on Tuesday for the Cincinnati Reds against the New York Yankees. The 22-year-old right-handed pitcher has been tearing it up in the minors this season with a 1.77 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, and 89 strikeouts in 66 innings over 13 starts. With a fastball that touches 100 mph and a devastating slider, Burns is poised to make a big impact in his first taste of big league action.

The Yankees, who dropped the first game of the series on Monday night, will send veteran lefty Carlos Rodon to the mound to face off against Burns. DraftKings Sportsbook has New York as the favorite with a -164 money line, but Burns’ pitcher strikeout prop is set at 5.5 with the Over at +120 and the Under at -155.

Moving on to other key matchups in the MLB, the Atlanta Braves will take on the struggling New York Mets. The Mets have lost nine of their last 10 games, including the series opener on Monday night. The SportsLine Projection Model gives the Mets a 50.0% chance of winning on Tuesday, making the +123 money line a value bet. However, expert Bruce Marshall is backing the Braves and pitcher Spender Strider on the run line.

In another game to watch, the Washington Nationals will face the San Diego Padres. Former Padres prospect James Wood had a stellar performance in Monday night’s game, and the SportsLine Projection Model expects him to stay hot. Wood’s Over 0.5 total bases at -182 is a 5-star pick. The Nationals also have a slight edge in the money line, according to the model.

Shifting gears to the WNBA, the Los Angeles Sparks will take on the Chicago Sky in a battle of teams on three-game losing streaks. The Sparks are looking to climb up the standings and are 2.5 games behind the eighth playoff spot. With both teams struggling defensively, the Over is the play according to expert Meyer. Additionally, Meyer likes Cardoso to have a big night before she leaves the Sky temporarily to play for Brazil in the AmeriCup.

In the FIFA Club World Cup, Chelsea will face off against ES Tunis in a crucial Group D match. Both teams are tied on points and will be looking for a win to secure a spot in the knockout stage. The SportsLine expert pick is for Both Teams To Score: Yes at +110, with ES Tunis expected to push forward in search of goals.

Overall, Tuesday’s slate of games across MLB, WNBA, and the FIFA Club World Cup promises plenty of exciting action and betting opportunities for fans to enjoy. The Importance of Self-Care in a Fast-Paced World

In today’s fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With deadlines to meet, responsibilities to fulfill, and never-ending to-do lists, it’s no wonder that many people find themselves feeling overwhelmed and burnt out. However, taking care of yourself is crucial in order to maintain your overall well-being and mental health.

Self-care is the practice of taking intentional actions to improve your physical, emotional, and mental health. It involves making time for activities that help you relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. While self-care may seem like a luxury that many people can’t afford, it is actually a necessity in order to function at your best and avoid burnout.

One of the key benefits of self-care is its ability to reduce stress levels. When you take the time to relax and unwind, you give your body and mind a chance to rest and recover from the demands of daily life. This can help lower your cortisol levels, which are the hormones released in response to stress, and improve your overall well-being.

Self-care also plays a crucial role in maintaining good mental health. By engaging in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment, you can boost your mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Whether it’s taking a walk in nature, practicing mindfulness meditation, or spending time with loved ones, self-care can help you feel more balanced and content.

In addition to improving your mental and emotional well-being, self-care can also have a positive impact on your physical health. Engaging in regular exercise, eating a balanced diet, and getting enough sleep are all important aspects of self-care that can help you stay healthy and prevent chronic illnesses.

Despite the benefits of self-care, many people struggle to prioritize it in their busy lives. They may feel guilty for taking time for themselves or believe that self-care is selfish. However, it’s important to remember that self-care is not a luxury, but a necessity for maintaining your overall well-being.

There are many simple ways to incorporate self-care into your daily routine. Whether it’s setting aside time for a relaxing bath, practicing yoga, or reading a book, finding activities that bring you joy and relaxation is essential for your mental and emotional health.

In conclusion, self-care is a vital component of maintaining your overall well-being in today’s fast-paced world. By taking the time to prioritize your physical, emotional, and mental health, you can reduce stress, improve your mood, and prevent burnout. Remember that self-care is not selfish, but necessary for living a happy and fulfilling life. So, make time for yourself and prioritize your well-being – you deserve it.
