Food Network Announces Release Date and Twist for “Tournament of Champions” Season 7
Food Network has officially revealed the much-anticipated release date for the seventh season of Guy Fieri’s hit show, “Tournament of Champions,” along with an exciting new twist that has fans buzzing with anticipation.
According to Food Network, Season 7 of “Tournament of Champions” will feature top-seeded chefs who are food industry icons, though their identities will remain a secret until they enter the arena. The competition will be intense, with every battle being head-to-head and every dish being make-or-break. After 31 grueling head-to-head battles over eight weeks, one talented chef will emerge victorious, taking home the coveted Tournament of Champions belt and a $150,000 cash prize.
The new season is set to premiere on March 1 at 8 p.m. and will be available for streaming the following day on HBO Max and Discovery+. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Food Network and will also be available for streaming on HBO Max and Discovery+ leading up to the Season 7 finale on April 19.
Prior to the Season 7 premiere, a qualifiers round will air on February 15 at 8 p.m., where 16 chefs will compete for the final eight spots in this season’s lineup. Additionally, more details about the upcoming season will be revealed during “Tournament of Champions VII: The Bracket Reveal” special on February 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
The roster of chefs competing in Season 7 includes familiar names such as Adam Greenberg, Bryan Voltaggio, Jet Tila, Karen Akunowicz, and many more. Joining them will be four surprise culinary icons and eight additional winners from the qualifiers tournament. The judging panel will consist of past winners and industry experts, including Antonia Lofaso, Maneet Chauhan, Mei Lin, and Brooke Williamson, among others.
Produced by Knuckle Sandwich and Lando Entertainment for Food Network, “Tournament of Champions” Season 7 will also feature sideline reporters Tiffani Faison and Justin Warner, backstage interviewer Hunter Fieri, and judges’ correspondent Simon Majumdar.
