BGMI star Hydro from True Rippers has once again showcased his incredible skills in the Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025 Grand Finals. Despite his team finishing as the runner-up in the event, Hydro emerged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) with an outstanding performance. He secured a total of 42 eliminations in 16 matches, placing him at the top of the elimination leaderboard. His remarkable display of talent has left fans and analysts in awe, solidifying his status as one of the top players in the BGMI scene.

The CEGC 2025 BGMI event concluded on November 16, with a total prize pool of ₹50 lakh. The winners, Team Soul, took home ₹21.5 lakh after displaying impressive performances throughout the tournament. Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, presented awards to all the winners, adding prestige to the event.

True Rippers also had a successful run in the BGMI international Cup (BMIC) 2025, earning a spot in the upcoming PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, scheduled to begin on November 24. The team’s strong performance in the CEGC 2025 has boosted their confidence as they prepare to compete on the global stage in the PMGC.

Hydro’s dominance in the CEGC 2025 Grand Finals was evident from the beginning. He secured 14 eliminations in the first six matches, ranking third on the kill leaderboard. Despite a slow start for the team on Day 1, Hydro’s exceptional gameplay helped True Rippers climb to the top spot on the overall kill leaderboard by Day 2. With 34 eliminations to his name, Hydro played a crucial role in leading his team to a second-place finish in the tournament.

On Day 3, Hydro continued his stellar performance, adding eight more eliminations to his tally and maintaining his position as the top player on the kill leaderboard. With a total of 42 eliminations in 16 games, Hydro was rightfully awarded the FMVP title and a cash prize of ₹50,000. His consistent excellence in major tournaments, including the BGMI Masters Series Season 4, BMSD, and BMIC 2025, highlights his exceptional talent and dedication to the game.

Goblin from Team Soul also delivered an impressive performance in the CEGC 2025 Finals, finishing second on the elimination leaderboard with 34 kills. Alongside his teammates Legit, Nakul, and Joker, Goblin played a pivotal role in securing a major title for the team and further establishing their dominance in the competitive BGMI scene.

As Hydro and True Rippers gear up for the upcoming PMGC 2025, fans can expect to witness more breathtaking performances from the talented players.
