A clear indication that things are severely amiss for Donald Trump is his decision to convene a press conference aimed at pitching his narrative to the American populace.
The conflict involving Iran is a direct result of decisions made by Donald Trump.

The pressing question has been: why did Trump opt to initiate a conflict with Iran?
Trump provided an answer, albeit one that raises more eyebrows than it answers.
The president stated:
“The situation was very quickly approaching the point of no return, and the United States found it intolerable, in my opinion, based on what Steve, Jared, Pete, and others were telling me. Marco was so involved that I thought they were gonna attack us. I thought they would. If we didn’t do this at the time we did it, I think they had in mind to attack us.”

Trump has launched a conflict that has resulted in casualties among both Americans and Iranians, all while further destabilizing the Middle East and negatively impacting the global economy, based solely on a gut feeling that Iran intended to attack the U.S.
It’s worth noting that Trump has presented no tangible evidence to support his claim that Iran was poised for an attack.
In fact, his rationale is so insubstantial that it makes George W. Bush’s assertions about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq look like solid evidence.
Trump’s assertions rest on nothing more than intuition, and after years of observing his decisions, the majority of Americans have come to understand that his instincts are often misguided.
The president, who seems to expect us to have unwavering faith in his judgment, continued by downplaying the surging gas prices that are affecting everyday Americans.
