Trump Celebrates Senate Passage of His ‘Big Beautiful Bill’
On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump issued a statement in response to the Senate’s narrow approval of his much-touted ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’
The reconciliation bill was passed by a razor-thin margin of 51-50, with Senator J.D. Vance casting the decisive vote.
Trump urged House Republicans to disregard the “grandstanders” and move swiftly to pass the legislation.
Nearly all of our esteemed Republicans in the United States Senate have come together to pass our “ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL.” This bill transcends the labels of “House Bill” or “Senate Bill”; it belongs to everyone. There’s plenty to celebrate here, and every stakeholder has achieved a significant Policy WIN. However, the ultimate beneficiary will be the American public, who can expect Permanently Lower Taxes, Increased Wages and Take Home Pay, Secure Borders, and a More Robust and Powerful Military. Furthermore, programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are not being cut; rather, they are being STRENGTHENED and PROTECTED from the Radical and Destructive Democrats by tackling Waste, Fraud, and Abuse within those programs.
We can realize all these benefits immediately, but only if the House GOP comes together, disregards its occasional “GRANDSTANDERS” (you know who you are!), and takes the right step of sending this Bill to my desk. We are on track—let’s keep the momentum going and wrap this up before you and your family head off on a July 4th vacation. The American people need and deserve this; they entrusted us to GET IT DONE!
Our nation is poised for explosive growth, even more so than what we’ve already witnessed since my re-election. With this Bill, alongside our Tariffs and other initiatives, “THE ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL” paves the way for significant reductions in our Federal Deficit and sets the stage for immense Prosperity in this new and glorious Golden Age of America.
